The Diary of Annabelle Clayton is one that the main idea for it is still not entirely finished. Where as for Never Forgotten, I know every detail, all the characters, how it will end, everything, but with Annabelle, I'm still incomplete. The only thing I can really tell you for sure is that it is written entirely in diary form. That has not been done with many books that are out today, but I find it fascinating. To be able to hear the story as though it is being written by the person themselves, it's a special way to connect to the story. So, now I give you The Diary of Annabelle Clayton.
Annabelle Clayton is a young French/American girl who travels with a diary to Spain to study mission ruins. From there she boards a ship that sends her to the Amazon Jungle on an expedition, all along the way writing of her adventures.

Excerpt:
14 June 1900
Today Paolo took me into the village, he showed me one of his favorite missions. It was beautiful, and the way he spoke of it, it was as if it was one of his own most prized possesions. He took me to meet his family, they were all so very kind to me, I felt so at home with them, though it did make me miss my own mother and father. Paolo told me that his own nephew, Carlos will be joining us on our voyage to Brazil. Tomorrow we will begin our journey, I am so very excited, Papa has missed much by remaining in France, but I shall tell him of everything by writing in you. Well I should go for tonight, I must rest before tomorrow. Goodnight my friend.
With Love,
Annabelle
